I was born in Locarno – Switzerland in 1968. Active in the field of sound, i approached photography as a teenager. What might have seemed like a simple interest grew to play a very important part in my life. The passion for the outdoors and nature brought me immediately to prefer the theme of landscapes. This was the beginning of my experimental and self-learning path of the different techniques of shooting and developmental process; first with traditional film and a darkroom and later with the many possibilities offered by digital techniques. The search for the essential brought me to develop several personal projects, some of which are still ongoing. Some of my photographs have been used as backgrounds for websites and book covers, as well as chosen by institutions and by private individuals for their offices and homes.
